Minor in Indigenous Psychologies
As the only specialisation of its kind available in Aotearoa New Zealand, the minor and/or the endorsement in Indigenous Psychologies will empower students to be critically engaged and informed, with an appreciation for and awareness of the diverse perspectives and realities that exist across communities. Through the completion of three core courses (175.103, 175.210, 175.314), the minor and/or endorsement is designed to progressively embed and develop awareness and understanding of how the practices, beliefs, rituals, values and worldviews specific to particular communities influence the thoughts and behaviours of group members.
